Junior Golf

The Nedlands Junior Golf Programme is designed to encourage our future golfers to progress to the next levels

Aim:
  • Instructional Clinics designed to further the development of junior members golfing skills.
  • Clinics prepare juniors to play independently or with minimum supervision.
  • Professional staff provides tuition in the techniques required for various golf shots, course management, basic rules and golf etiquette.
  • Learn to play at the pace of a competition field and to learn to mark a card correctly using the stroke, par and Stableford (competition) scoring systems.
  • Obtain an official WAGA or WGWA handicaps.
  • Regular Newsletters (by E-mail or Website)
  • Encourage junior membership to join and actively support the Graham Marsh Junior Golf program
Sessions:
  • Pee-Wee's classess, during School Terms Thursday afternoons (4pm-5pm)
  • Junior members training Monday afternoons (4pm-5pm)
  • During School Holidays on selected Mondays between 9am-12.00noon (Limited to 12 juniors).
  • Junior tournaments are held on Sundays at 8am. Subject to course availability check (website/ fixture book).
  • Weekly junior 9 and 18 hole competitions held on Sundays (subject to course availability).
Cost:
  • Thursday Clinics Free
  • Competitions $5
  • School Holiday Clinics $15
“Once a junior has achieved a handicap of 21 or better (boys) or 40 (girls) will be invited to participate in senior club events”
