Cath Bellemore has taken out her eleventh Club Championship with a comfortable victory over Captain Rhonda Moore in the 72 hole stroke event. An earlier timeslot, nice weather and a good field produced the same dominant winner finishing with an excellent 80, the best of her four rounds. The course was produced very well each day and in front of a packed clubhouse the winner dedicated her win to her amazing sister Nikki.
The ladies club championships are underway in glorious weather at an earlier timeslot in the season. As expected, defending champion Cath Bellemore takes a lead into the 2nd & 3rd rounds of four next week, but not by much.
Her 86 was highlighted by a birdie on the 10th and played the par 3s in only one over has her in good stead to record her tenth title win. Captain and last year’s runner up Rhonda Moore is only four back and in contention with Judith Drummond (92) and Joan Brown (95).
