Today`s effort from a huge team of volunteers working with the greens staff, was the 3rd hole. Following a complete rebuild of the greens complex, including significant earthworks to the fairway leading to the green, the surrounds have been turfed out and remaining areas seeded with stolons. We can`t wait for this finished product.
A fantastic turnout of over 20 volunteers helped lay turf around the new 7th green complex today for some instant results! Similar to the 8th last week, the sown stolens will grow in the bare areas to complete the greening over the new space. Thanks to everyone who helped, now on to the 3rd green on Thursday.

A mini-milestone was hit today with the new greens getting hand mowed for the first time. With the par 3`s out of action for the summer we`ve decided to strip the tees and re-surface those now, so they`ll be back in play when the greens are.
Next week turfing will occur around the greens surrounds enabling the aprons growth to match the greens. This aids in mowing and maintenance consistency.
