As reported in the President’s enews on 12th May, the Club will be utilising the Australian Sports Foundation for any voluntary contributions to the next 3-year club levy.
The ASF is a mechanism for clubs to list fundraising projects where members may make voluntary tax-deductible donations. Reiterating the message on the 12th May, the key conditions of the ASF are that donations will be:
– Voluntary
– Non-refundable, and
– Have not been invoiced by the Club.
Accordingly, the ASF project will be available until 31 August 2025 for members to utilise. If you wish to use the tax-deductible facility you must do so prior to this date. If not, you will be invoiced the levy in the usual way from the October renewal.
If you do not wish to pay three years upfront, then you don’t need to do anything, and the annual charge will be included on the next membership invoice.
Please remember if you pay through the ASF, it must be for the full 3-year value of the levy, and that the donation is non-refundable under any circumstances.
