As of 7th October the progress has been extensive with the base layout completed and approved on the 1st, 2nd and 8th greens. The surrounds for the 8th continue this week as well as significant earthworks to the 3rd and 7th.
The greens surface for the two par 3’s will be reviewed on Monday, 13th with the plan to finalise shaping that week on all surfaces and progress to the amendments and seeding.
We’ve started the process a full month earlier this year to allow a full 20 week grow in period and look forward to the growth and progress over the next few months.
Unfortunately, the earlier start means our temporary greens are much rougher than last year due to the cold, wet conditions. As we get some warm weather these greens will improve rapidly and be a better playing surface.
