The club is offering a structured golf program conducted by Mr Jamie Warman Head Teacher in charge of the Como Senior High School golf program.
Jamie was a State Junior representative and a collegiate golfer at the State University of Oklahoma. He is the Boys Manager for the School Sport WA Golf U18s team and is Como’s Specialist Golf Program TIC, for the Como Senior High Schools golfing program, where he has demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to developing young golfers.
Within the junior program structure Jamie will be conducting a 7-week program commencing in the first term of school. Another three x 8 week sessions are scheduled to be conducted throughout 2026 within each school term.
Jamie Warman has now commenced the first term of coaching sessions on Sunday mornings and Monday afternoon after school. The coaching sessions are booked by Nedlands junior members and non-members boys and girls.
It’s great to see that both sessions filled up quickly, and the feedback from the girls and boys attending has been positive. For those Juniors who are members, there is a Sunday junior competition directly after coaching which gives each student the opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt from the lesson. However, non-members do not have access to the course, and cannot play in the Sunday Junior competition.
The date for Term 2 hasn’t been locked in yet, but if the rush for Term 1 is anything to go by, parents are encouraged to act fast, as there are only 12 spots available in each session. Note: Priority will be given to members.
This is a fantastic opportunity for all parents to give their son or daughter access to top coaching right here at Nedlands. Don’t miss out— Contact the office to register your Son, Daughter or Grand child for Term 2 office@nedlandsgolfclub.com.au and secure your spot early!
