Next week, Nedlands Golf Club is coming together as a community to proudly support Make-A-Wish® Australia, helping create life‑changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Throughout the week, the Club will be raising funds through competition entry fees, with voluntary donations also welcomed from social golfers. Every contribution, large or small, plays an important role in helping Make-A-Wish® Australia continue its incredible work — bringing hope, joy and lasting positive impact to children and their families.
Make-A-Wish exists to bring amazing people together to grant wishes that are far more than one‑off moments. Each wish is carefully designed as part of a child’s Wish Journey, creating uplifting memories and strength that can last well beyond the wish itself.
We are especially proud that one of our members, Ben Gregory, is part of the wider Make-A-Wish community and has experienced the power of a wish firsthand. While this initiative is not raising funds for any one individual, Ben has generously shared a personal video message to help explain why the Make-A-Wish mission matters so deeply — and why community support is so important.
By participating in next week’s competitions or making a voluntary donation, members and guests become part of the #WishForce — the thousands of everyday Australians who help make wishes come true.
Thank you for supporting this important cause and for helping Nedlands Golf Club make a positive difference beyond the fairways.
Ben joined Nedlands in July 2023 with his diagnosis less than a year later. Following his treatment, he was able to represent Nedlands in our Junior Pennant team in January 2025. His message is available in the video below.
