Perennial champion Cath Bellemore had an untroubled march to her eleventh club championship with a comfortable win over captain Rhonda Moore. Bellemore led the qualifying before defeating foursomes partner Sue Kelly and past captain Marg Doyle to reach the final. The final was high quality with Bellemore’s iron play a feature in the morning before clearing out to a commanding lead and sewing up the title midway through the afternoon. Captain Moore should also be congratulated, winning tight matches against Judith Drummond and Ali Baker (19th) to qualify for the final.

Other winners were Deb Carmody, Ping Heng, Tracy Chin and Susan Watson who were also presented to a packed Clubhouse.
