Last Sunday Nedlands Metro Pennants won their first Pennant match for the season, beating Melville Glades Golf Club 6 matches to 3. The juniors also had their first win for the season winning 4 matches to 3. A great story coming out of the weekend was young junior Sean Raj, who at 11 years old played his first competitive round of golf. Sean had a very respectable loss of 7/6 where he squared 5 out of the last 6 holes he played. A future star of Nedlands in the making.
A big thank you to all members who came down to watch our boys get over the line. Next Sunday they are playing Wanneroo at Wanneroo from 12 noon onwards.
