After being promoted  to the second division for the 2019 Pennant Season the team has had a tough start to the campaign.

Starting with losing the first match against Rockingham  which was closely fought, followed by defeats to Hartfield, Lakelands and WA golf.

All good things come to those that wait, and the team  won its  first match 4/3 against Bunbury on Sunday 28th April.  It was a very tight contest with Kayne sinking long putts on the last three holes to win his match.

The following Sunday 6th May the team beat Melville Glades 5/2 to more or less ensure that we will be playing in the same division next year.

The final match will be against The Vines this Sunday 12th May at Hartfield and any supporters would be welcomed by Harry and the team, although it is acknowledged that this is Mothers Day

The camaraderie within the team is good to see and the standard of golf on display by all of the teams has been great to watch and admire.

The team has been strengthened this year by the availability of Ben Cullinan and the ever improving Callum White. To help the guys next year we will try to encourage and groom our younger members so that  we can consider the opportunity of a second team, to build our ranks and capability so that players can take the next step up to support each other.

On a final note “Good Luck” to the team on Sunday, and we will have a celebration get together at the end of the season.
