NOTICE is hereby given that the Eighty Seventh Annual General Meeting of Members of Nedlands Golf Club Inc. will be held at the Clubhouse, Melvista Ave, Nedlands, on Tuesday 3 December 2019 at 7.00 pm.
BUSINESS:
(1) To confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 4 December 2018;
(2) To receive and consider the reports of the Committee for the previous year;
(3) To receive and consider:
- the financial report of the Club for the preceding financial year; and
- the auditor’s report on the financial report;
(4) To declare the result of the election for the Committee;
(5) To appoint an Auditor for the ensuing year;
(6) To consider any General Business.
(7) To consider a motion of Special Business by Special Resolution put forward by Paul Jenkins:
“This Annual General Meeting of Members of the Nedlands Golf Club (Club) instructs the Club Committee to research and prepare for consideration at the next Annual General Meeting of the club (or at any Special General Meeting called for the purpose) a revision of the Club Constitution and By-laws relating to Membership Categories, removing gender reference in all categories of Membership.

Further, such revision of the Constitution and By-laws relating to Membership should contemplate and recommend ways to make available access to any and all Club competitions, regardless of the Member’s gender, to which their category of Membership entitles them.” |
