Course Management Request
With the recent changes introduced to ensure that the maximum number of members can continue to play golf, our Course Management Team is having some difficulty completing their routine maintenance tasks.
In particular, with the early tee off times our Maintenance Team are also cutting the greens at that time and we ask that players give them priority to complete this important function. The staff are aware that we have full fields everyday and will do their utmost to ensure any delays to play are minimal. In most instances they will wave players through and wait before continuing work.
In addition, members are expected to help maintain the course by “chopping in” their own divots on the fairways and fix the pitch marks on the greens. This is paramount as grass becomes dormant in the cooler months and will alleviate the need to top-sand the greens on a monthly basis.
With mutual co-operation we should be able to continue with maximum fields whilst ensuring that the high quality of the course is maintained.
