MEMBERS ASSISTANCE REQUIRED

As a result of COVID-19 restrictions on travel and other social activities, the golf course has experienced an unprecedented demand for both Competition and Social golf.  To cater for this increase, the Match Committee has expanded the size of the playing fields.

This has inevitably impacted on the “wear and tear” of the course and the time taken to complete rounds, especially during competitions.

Members can assist by adhering to the following:

COURSE CARE

  • Repair your pitch marks on the greens plus one other. Unrepaired or incorrectly repaired pitch marks is unsightly and will cause long term damage to the greens resulting in more coring and cost to the Club.
  • Chop in your divots on the fairways and rough to promote grass growth and get rid of unsightly divots. Please ask the pro shop if you are unsure how to chop in a divot.

 PACE OF PLAY

  • Be aware of the position of the groups in front and keep up at all times.
  • Practice “Ready Golf” from tee to green.
  • Walk forward to your ball if safe to do so whilst your partners are waiting for the group ahead to clear.
  • Walk briskly between shots and be ready to play when it’s your turn.
  • Do not wait for all members of the group to putt out before going to the next tee if you need to make up time. “Putt and go” and tee off.

Your consideration and assistance is requested to enhance the enjoyment for all members.
