2020 Winter Cup
The 2020 Winter Cup, a two day PAR event, will be played on the weekend of 25th and 26th July 2020. The booking sheet will open at 11.00 am on Sunday 12th July.
As part of the generous sponsorship arrangement with Andrew Frazer, the catering will include a bacon and egg burger prior to tee off on Saturday and a curry buffet at the conclusion of play on Sunday for both the AM (lunch) and PM (dinner) fields.
Described by Andrew as “the most difficult Major to win”, the Winter Cup has a long history dating back to 1938. A prized trophy to add to one’s golfing resume.
2020 Millennium Cup
The 2020 Millennium Cup, the second Mixed Major of the year will be held on Sunday, 2nd August 2020. This 4BBB Mixed Event, sponsored by the Furness and Bortello families is a popular event and will be sure to attract a full field.
The entry fee of $40 a couple will include a grazing platter at the conclusion of play. The booking sheet will open on Sunday, 19th July.
Thank you Mackenzie
It is with mixed feelings that the Club bids Mackenzie a warm farewell as he embarks on the next phase of his career with golfing software and support provider MiClub. Mack has been at the Club for nearly 6 years and during this time has become an integral part of the proshop, making many friends along the way.
On behalf of the Committee, members and staff, we thank you for your contributions and loyalty to the club and wish you well for your next chapter.
Mack who recently won his second major trophy the 2020 Autumn Cup, remains a member and aims to add to his collection of silverware. Mack’s last day will be on Sunday 12th July.
