12:30 PM Shotgun, Sunday 28 August

Sponsored By Ian Macdonald

The men’s Foursomes Championship, sponsored by past-president Ian Macdonald, will be played on Sunday 28 August and the event is open to male members with 18 hole playing rights.

Foursomes is played in pairs with each player teeing off on alternate holes and playing alternate shots until the ball is holed.

It is a challenging and fun format and played at the highest level of golf with foursomes played in the Ryder Cup since 1927 and the President’s Cup since 1994.

Within the NGC Foursomes Championship there will be two trophies on offer. The RL Newman Tray, first played in 1969, is the NGC foursomes best gross trophy and the Nedlands Foursomes Championship tray, first played in 2013, is the NGC foursomes best net trophy.

The 2021 defending champions are:

  • RL Newman Tray – Ken Hall and Anthony Joseph
  • Nedlands Foursomes Championship Tray – Cory Mann and Andrew Roberts

So, find yourself a partner, practice not saying “sorry” and come and have a go.

The tee sheet is currently open.
