Phil Johnson added a second Grant Elevators Spring Cup after wait in excess of 20 years. After previously winning in 1991, Johnson produced two excellent stableford rounds of 37 to defeat Ako Futaesaku by a shot, with a group containing Greg Parry, Steve Noske and Jeff Veling a stroke further back on 72.
Ken McNeilage was the star on Saturday with 41 points to be overnight leader, whilst Greg Paddon produced 39 to be best on Sunday.
