The Committee has announced the following Dress Code to become effective 1 March 2017;

 

DRESS CODE (for before, during & after golf)

The Committee requires that Members wear a suitable standard of dress at all times, and the following are to be regarded as the acceptable minimum. It is the duty of Members to ensure that they, and their Guests, adhere to these standards.

Dress on the Golf Course (including practice/putting areas)

  • Golf attire should be neat and tidy.
  • Regulation soft spiked golf shoes  are to be worn at all times

Ladies

  • Players are expected to be suitably dressed for golf
  • A shirt designed for golf should be worn with tailored golf skirt, slacks or shorts of an appropriate length
  • Tailored shorts must be either worn with white socks (plain white) or which match golf outfit

Men

  • Players are expected to be suitably dressed for golf
  • A shirt designed for golf should be worn, tucked inside tailored slacks or shorts with a belt
  • Tailored shorts must be of knee length either worn with long or short white socks (plain white or predominantly white) or white anklet socks
  • Shirts are to be tucked in at all times

Footwear

All players are to wear soft spike golf shoes – metal spikes are not permitted

Not Permitted on the Golf Course

  • Thongs, sandals, scuffs, or bare feet
  • T-shirts, singlets, crew neck shirts or shirts without a collar
  • Tracksuits, jeans, denim, cargo shorts, board shorts, beach or football shorts

Dress in the Clubhouse

In the Clubhouse, smart casual attire is acceptable providing it is commensurate with that expected at a prestigious private golf club.

  • Golf shoes, or fully enclosed shoes, may be worn in all areas of the Clubhouse
    • It is the sole responsibility of the member to ensure their golf shoes are clean of grass cuttings and sand prior to entering the Clubhouse
  • Thongs, jeans, or collarless shirts are not permitted at any time
  • Shirts must be tucked in, unless designed / tailored to be worn out

 

Members should ensure their guests are aware of the dress rules, both on the course and in the Clubhouse
