Augusta local Patrick Reed held his nerve on a dramatic final day at Augusta to claim his first major and don the green jacket ahead of Ricky Fowler and a charging Jordan Spieth (64). Leaderboard

To celebrate this week’s US Masters at Augusta, we are running a couple of special events to coincide;
- US Masters Sweep run along the same lines as a Melbourne Cup sweep, simply place your name on the entry list on the website click here $10 entry payable to proshop, prizes for 1st to 3rd
- 9 Hole Par 3 Course on Friday the grounds staff will have set up a par 3 on each of our holes, you may wish to play the par 3s solely or as you play the full course on a social basis. $4 entry fee to submit a card for the Par 3 course, prizes to best scores
The 2017 Masters Tournament was won by Spain’s Sergio Garcia, a very popular winner. The Proshop ran a sweep for the tournament along the same lines as the Melbourne Cup.
The lucky member who drew Sergio was … Captain Gavin Furness!
In second place with an unlucky playoff loss was Justin Rose, and member Andrew Frazer.
Third placegetter Charl Schwartzel went to immediate past President Greg Parry.
