The Committee has recently reviewed the by-laws of the Club. The current by-laws are dated and are in need of substantial change to bring them up to date.
The existing by-laws and the proposed new by-laws can be accessed by clicking the hyperlinks [or downloaded from the website]. A hard copy of the proposed updated by-laws have been posted on the Club’s noticeboard.
The applicable procedure to change the by-laws is set out in clauses 29.7 to 29.9 of the Constitution. Any formal objection should be lodged in the manner provided for in clause 29.7(b) by 14 March 2019. If no objection is lodged by that time the new by-laws will take effect on 15 March 2019.
The Committee welcomes any comments which members may wish to make on the proposed new by-laws.
