Shading on the 6th green has been a huge problem that has been expressed in the past, particularly on the front couple of meters. This was more recently demonstrated by a couple of Brazilian peppers right and short of the green and their removal was necessary to prevent further deterioration of the green. It is fortunate that we have been able to acquire free turf from Cottesloe golf club to re-turf our troubled areas but problems do remain. The area right of the 6th green is now open to the street. This has been considered and it has been decided that we plant a mixture of Bottlebrush and red flowering gums to overcome that problem.  The trees will be planted this week.
