News: SENIOR PENNANT TEAM FALTERS IN FINAL

After leading the North Yellow Division after the qualifying rounds, the team travelled to Gosnells full of confidence for the final against the leaders of the Yellow South Division on Monday. Unfortunately, the Yellow Team fell at the final hurdle going down 4-1 to a very good team from the South Division winning team, Royal Fremantle.

After 9 holes we were in with a chance leading 3-2. With the exception of one match all matches were close. Over the last 9 holes we simply were overcome by a better team on the day – especially around the greens.

Congratulations to our winning combination of Brian Hanna and Mike McFarlane.

Acknowledgement is made of the support we received from our supporters today – especially Scotty Williams and the Captain of the White Team, Gavin Furness and his co-captain Joe Alexander – along with some of our fellow team members.

Finally, thanks to all players and supporters for the year and we look forward to 2022 when hopefully we can go one better.
